Scott Samson is a Program Manager at Geltz Communications, Inc. where he is in charge of energy efficiency marketing and public relations for such programs as Intergy Corporation's Energy Efficiency Kiosk Pilot Program administered by Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison, the Small Business Energy Alliance Program administered by Pacific Gas & Electric, KEMA Services' AC TIMe Program administered by San Diego Gas & Electric and Comverge's Cool Share Program administered by Nevada Power. In support of these programs, he works on program development, strategic partnerships, publicity, market research, marketing materials and Web site development.

Samson joined Geltz Communications with extensive marketing and public relations experience within the environmental and energy industries. In the past, he spearheaded a three-year energy efficiency awareness program with the Department of Navy and won them a Presidential Award for Leadership in Federal Energy Management. He also managed the America's WETLAND: Campaign to Save Coastal Louisiana, the largest public awareness campaign in the state's history aimed at securing $14 billion from the Federal government to save the coast and its valuable resources. He has worked with utilities and government agencies across the nation launching energy and environmental campaigns. He also was the first to create and use a "green" carpet at a Hollywood event through Waste Management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Virginia Tech and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
