Web Site is Winner in International Awards Competition

PASADENA, CA, October 14, 2003: The newly designed Web site for Energy Design Resources (www.energydesignresources.com) was an Honors Award winner in the 2003 iNova Awards competition, an international awards program.

The Web site is a collaboration of the four energy utilities in California: Pacific Gas & Electric, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, and Southern California Gas Company. It provides the building design community with a variety of resources that encourage energy-efficient design for new commercial buildings. These resources include design and financial analysis software tools, online training courses, case studies, design briefs, newsletter archives, and links to other resources.

The awards competition, sponsored by MerComm, Inc., is the first international awards show dedicated to recognizing and promoting overall achievement in creative design, written content, and functional performance of corporate Web sites.

This year's competition drew more than 270 entries from nine countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Geltz Communications, a certified, woman-owned California small business, was the project manager for the redesigned Web site. Geltz, founded in 1990, is a full-service integrated marketing communications company with a focus on the energy, water and environmental industries.
