Glendale Water & Power Annual Report
Earns Silver Beacon Award
PASADENA, CA, September 25, 2003: The 2001-2002
annual report for Glendale Water & Power, conceived,
written and designed by Geltz Communications and Creative
Development Associates, received a Silver Beacon Award
from the Northern California Chapter of the Business
Marketing Association (NorCal BMA). The Beacon Awards
is the only awards program in the Bay Area of California
that recognizes business-to-business marketing excellence.
NorCal BMA recognized Geltz Communications and Creative
Development at an awards luncheon on September 24.
The theme of the Glendale Water & Power (GWP) 2001
- 2002 Annual Report was "The New GWP - Looking
to the Future." Glendale Water & Power, the
municipal water and power company for Glendale, California,
serves 200,000 residential and business customers.
"The winners of this year's Beacon Awards demonstrate
the high level of quality work being produced by marketing
professionals," said Louise Saufley, NorCal BMA
chairman of the board. "They are to be commended
for their achievements, especially in a year with reduced
resources due to the economy."
Geltz Communications, a certified, woman-owned California
small business, worked with Glendale Water & Power
to provide concept, content and project management.
Founded in 1990, Geltz is a full-service integrated
marketing communications company with a focus on the
energy, water and environmental industries.
Creative Development Associates worked with Geltz and
Glendale Water & Power in the development of the
annual report's design.
