Glendale Water & Power Annual Report is
Winner in International Communications Competition
PASADENA, CA, May 22, 2003: The 2000-2001
annual report for Glendale Water & Power, conceived,
written and designed by Geltz Communications and Creative
Development Associates, is a winner in the Dalton Pen
Communications Awards Program 2003.
Based on the theme "Managing Change, Meeting the Challenge,"
the publication was one of more than 800 entries from
around the world. Glendale Water & Power, one of three
honorable mention winners, is the only California business
to be honored in the annual report category. Other winners
in the competition include Harvard University, Genentech,
and international companies from Canada and India.
Judges based their decision on design sophistication,
originality/creativity, symbolism, support of the business
message, information provided, clarity and effectiveness.
Geltz Communications, a certified, woman-owned California
small business, worked with Glendale Water & Power to
provide concept, content and project management. Geltz,
founded in 1990, is a full-service integrated marketing
communications company with a focus on the energy, water
and environmental industries.
Creative Development Associates worked with Geltz and
Glendale Water & Power in the development of the annual
report's design.
